It gives me immense pleasure and a profound sense of pride to welcome you all to UttaraEyecon 2026, the Annual Conference of the Uttarakhand State Ophthalmological Society (UKSOS). Over the years, our society has grown into a vibrant community of over 800 dedicated eye care professionals. From our inception in 2004, our guiding mission has been to nurture the study and practice of ophthalmic sciences, foster groundbreaking clinical research, and consistently deliver world-class eye care to the community. UttaraEyecon stands as the pinnacle of these collective efforts—a platform where legacy meets innovation. The field of ophthalmology is evolving at an unprecedented pace. From micro-incision surgical advancements and cutting-edge artificial intelligence diagnostics to complex anterior segment reconstructions, the boundaries of what we can achieve are expanding every day. This year’s scientific program has been meticulously curated to bring you the best of these global advancements, featuring comprehensive symposia, high-impact orations, competitive free papers, interactive e-poster sessions, and our highly anticipated video film festival. While our primary goal remains academic and surgical excellence, UttaraEyecon is equally celebrated for its warm camaraderie and unmatched hospitality.
